Marine Mechanic (Maldivian)

Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa is situated in the South Ari Atoll which is about 25-minutes by seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport. This island is 900 meters long by 250 meters wide and surrounded by a spectacular house reef. We have a total of 194 rooms with 2 buffet restaurants, 2 a la carte restaurants and 4 bars.

We are looking for motivated and experienced Marine Mechanic to join our Vilamendhoo Family!

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Chief Engineer, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assures Marine Engineering Policy and Procedures are carried out
• Maintain a Maintenance and Service record on all Boats and Sea Carrying Vessels.
• Carry out weekly checks on all Boats/Yacht engines with Boat Captains & Guest Transport Manager.

Qualifications:

• Male, minimum 3 years of experience as a marine mechanic
• Diploma in marine engineering
• Has the basic ability to comprehend English language to understand information such as safety labels and instructions.
