Restaurant Hostess

Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa is situated in the South Ari Atoll which is about 25-minutes by seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport. This island is 900 meters long by 250 meters wide and surrounded by a spectacular house reef. We have a total of 194 rooms with 2 buffet restaurants, 2 a la carte restaurants and 4 bars.

We are looking for motivated, customer service oriented and friendly Hostess to join our Vilamendhoo Family!

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Outlet Supervisors, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• To greet and welcome guests to the Restaurant, and escort guests to their tables offering the highest level of courteous, professional service
• Receive all telephone calls and take reservations in a polite and professional manner
• To familiarize oneself with all long-term and regular guests and special/VIP guests and special requests of guests
• To be fully aware of working practices within Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, guidelines
• To have full knowledge of all food and beverage products available throughout the Food & Beverage outlets to recommend and upsell to guests
• To assist when required to set-up the tables for guest and arrange the tables for special requests like birthdays, anniversary etc.
• Assist guests and employees in a friendly, courteous and timely manner

Qualifications:

• Female and completed of GCE O” level/A” level/ Diploma
• Good command of written and spoken English, additional language an advantage
• Must be well-groomed, neat and clean.
