Bartender (Female)

Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa is situated in the South Ari Atoll which is about 25-minutes by seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport. This island is 900 meters long by 250 meters wide and surrounded by a spectacular house reef. We have a total of 194 rooms with 2 buffet restaurants, 2 a la carte restaurants and 4 bars.

We are looking for motivated, customer service oriented and friendly Bartender to join our Vilamendhoo Family!

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Bartender/Supervisor, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Maintains proper and adequate set‐up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet. Responsible for checking daily requisitions to ensure what is received is correct.
• To be fully aware of working practices within Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, guidelines
• To greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Mixes garnishes
and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.

Qualifications:

• Male with at least 1 year bartending experience.
• Bartender course or cocktail mixing course preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English, additional language an advantage.
• Must be well‐groomed, neat and clean.
