Purchasing Supervisor

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual who is passionate about developing career in hospitality to join our team as a Purchasing Supervisor.

Meeru Island is located in North Male’ Atoll accessible via boat from the International Airport. The island features 284 rooms, four large F&B outlets, extensive water sports, diving facilities as well as a large fleet of vessels. This beautiful island was one of the first resorts in the Maldives and offers a vibrant and rich heritage; it is Simply Maldives.

You’re Responsibilities:

• Communicate closely with the Purchasing Manager to address the routine purchasing needs and requirements of the resort, as well as assist in exploring new and alternative sources of suppliers
• Collaborate with other departments, Store Keepers, and Cost Controller for efficient purchasing coordination
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, Customs Officers, Shipping Agents and Male Office members
• Monitors the quality of received products to ensure resort’s established standards are met

Our Requirements:

• A certificate / diploma in Hospitality is required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Ability to communicate effectively both in English and Dhivehi
• Customer-oriented and with good interpersonal skills
