Marine Mechanic

We are looking for a Marine Mechanic who ensure the proper execution and maintenance of the resort’s marine fleet.

Meeru Island is located in North Male’ Atoll accessible via boat from the International Airport. The island features 284 rooms, four large F&B outlets, extensive water sports, diving facilities as well as a large fleet of vessels. This beautiful island was one of the first resorts in the Maldives and offers a vibrant and rich heritage; it is Simply Maldives.

You’re Responsibilities:

• To assist the Marine Engineer and workshop team on day-to-day activities to ensure a smooth maintenance operations
• Responsible for repair & maintenance of Marine equipment for installation on vessels
• Communicate all defects immediately and carry out corrective actions appropriately

Our Requirements:

• Any combination of education and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar capacity
• Good communication skills in English
