With decades of industry experience, including international exposure, Naseem brings a deeply rooted passion for hospitality, leadership, and empowerment to his new role.
Naseem, known by his casual name, ‘Beyya’, began his remarkable journey in 1996, when he was just 16 years old and his first job was as a waiter at Kurumba Maldives – the island that pioneered Maldives tourism. His early exposure to world-class hospitality sparked his drive through an extraordinary career, rising through the ranks at some of the most prestigious resorts, including Huvafenfushi, WMaldives, Soneva Fushi, Anantara Kihavah Villas, Vakkaru Maldives and Kanuhura Maldives.
Internationally, Naseem heightened his operational and leadership skills at Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman. This was followed by a key role as Villa Operational Manager during the pre-opening of Anantara Jabal Al Akhdar, which allowed him to blend local authenticity with global hospitality standards. Later served as Executive Assistant Manager at Milaidhoo Maldives, where he played a pivotal role in streamlining operations and mentoring the next generation of industry professionals. At Komandoo, Naseem is set to continue his legacy of excellence by nurturing a team-oriented culture and delivering deeply personalised experiences to guests.
