Waiter

We are looking for a skilled Waiter to join our F&B team at Komandoo Island Resort, Maldives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort customers to their tables
• To serve food and beverage orders by following the established standards.
• Ensure that the restaurant is clean at all times.
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
• Take accurate food and drinks orders and offer menu recommendations upon request
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Follow all relevant Health, Safety and Food Hygiene guidelines.
• Provide an excellent overall dining experience for our guests.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience in a similar role for at least 2 years
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Must be physically fit and well-groomed
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Degree in hospitality or related field and/or food safety training is an added advantage.
