System Administrator

We are looking for a talented, self-efficient candidate with extensive experience to head our IT department at Komandoo Island Resort & Spa, Maldives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitors the performance of the computer software and maintains a log of performance reports, error and integrity check reports, system malfunctions and solutions.
• Maintains licenses for all software and a sufficient inventory of computer related supplies.
• Manages the configuration records, programmed files and data files on the computer system.
• Investigates and reports software problems to the vendor.
• Schedules routine maintenance, quality, reporting, analysis, improves the department function
• Ensures security of data, network access and backup systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• At least two years in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Thorough hand’s on, practical knowledge of computerized Property Management Systems, including Point of Sales systems
• Good verbal and written communication skills
