HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

We are looking for a dynamic, self-efficient candidate to join our Housekeeping team at Komandoo Island Resort & Spa, Maldives.

Main Responsibilities;

Supervises the activities of Housekeeping attendants to ensure clean, attractive and well maintained guest villas and public areas.
Ensure all team members follow the standard cleaning procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance requirements are met.
Follow up on guest requests and complains.
Report all maintenance deficiencies immediately and follow up on corrective actions to the maintenance team.
Train, mentor, and provide guidance to housekeeping team members.
Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping procedures, including room cleaning protocols and laundry operations.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and amenities, coordinating orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Assist the Housekeeper attendance and performance management of the Housekeeping department.
Perform the duties of Housekeeper in his absence.

Requirements;

Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role in the hospitality sector
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Knowledge of best housekeeping practices, cleaning techniques, and use of cleaning equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with inventory management
Excellent physical health.
