Boat Captain

Jawakara Islands Maldives is seeking energetic, people’s person and service-oriented candidates for Boat captain.

• Carry out the functions of boat driving, look after in cleaning and maintaining the vessel.
• Assist all the passengers to embark/disembark.
• Look after all the luggage and supply items and assist to all the passengers to load and unload their items.
• To inform and instruct all passengers for the proper usage of safety equipment and to keep the equipment in good condition.
• Must be able to check the engine and other equipment and be able to give boat condition reports to the Guest Transport Manager before mooring the boat, keep clean and moor in a safe place.
• Keeping records of boat inventory and preparing Inventory report.
• To support the Guest Transport Department and Resort Policies and procedures at all times.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education:

Ordinary level education or higher is required.

Experience:

Minimum one-year experience of boat driving as a captain.

Licenses or certificates:

Must have valid license of sea transport.
