Housekeeping Supervisor

Hurawalhi Island Resort is seeking energetic, people’s person and service-oriented candidates for Housekeeping Supervisor.

The 90-villa, adults-only luxury resort. A renowned culinary hotspot offering epic culinary journeys, which include the largest all-glass underwater restaurant, 5.8 Undersea Restaurant We promote a culture of happiness for the well-being of our team members through their employee journey. You’re Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping attendants, ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved
• Conduct regular room inspections; follow up on corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, brand standards, and health & safety regulations
• Manage daily task allocation, attendance, and staff scheduling
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor and control housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment to minimize waste and loss
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction
• Support Room Attendants during peak operations and special requirements (VIPs, turn-down, deep cleaning)
• Prepare daily reports and communicate operational updates to the Executive Housekeeper

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar supervisory role within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Ability to maintain high standards under pressure and during high occupancy
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
• Basic computer skills (Opera, housekeeping systems, MS Office preferred)
• High attention to detail with a strong guest-service mindset
• Flexible working hours
• Relevant certification or diploma in Hospitality Management
