Multi Property Retail Manager

Crown and Champa Resorts has an exciting opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic, and experienced Multi Property Retail Manager based in the Maldives. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
• Conduct product inventories, and prepare sales reports.
• Stock, tag, and display merchandise in a highly presentable manner
• Maintain the shop in the excellent physical order, clean display areas and ensure accurate documentation of product stocks.
• Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyze operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
• Maintain an awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitor what local competitors are doing.
• Provide genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area.
• Interact with guests in a sensitive and appropriate manner; anticipate guest needs and ascertain satisfaction.
• Take ownership of guest concerns and requests and act decisively to ensure guest satisfaction by responding to customer complaints and comments.
• Train team members to ensure that all standard operating procedures are met.

Our Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Be up to date with current trends/techniques in the world of retail/merchandise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure leading a diverse, multicultural team.
• Previous ‘remote living’/ Island experience highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal communicator with personable character, good in relation-building.
• Strong technical and people management skills.
• Ability to understand and achieve established targets in terms of retail revenue.
• Computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office.
